Staff Software Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop next-generation digital platforms that facilitate the delivery of use cases into products aimed at helping individuals lead healthier lives.

• Create proof of concepts to enhance projects addressing customer needs.

• Act as a technical leader and individual contributor.

• Design and implement effective, scalable solutions that align with business requirements and quality benchmarks.

• Engage in solution design and architecture discussions alongside architects and senior engineers.

• Evaluate technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

• Collaborate with team members, offering technical insights and participating in decision-making processes.

• Embrace best practices, technologies, and tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and code quality.

• Engage in code reviews, tech talks, workshops, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Implement complex features and enhance existing functionalities in collaboration with developers and team members.

• Provide expert support for intricate issues and conduct root-cause analyses.

• Identify gaps within the digital ecosystem and propose performance-enhancing solutions.

• Mentor and guide junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions within a large-scale distributed software design environment.

• More than 5 years of Java development experience.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.

• Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working on CI/CD pipeline automation.

• At least 3 years of experience in an Agile-based development setting.

• More than 2 years of experience with Agentic AI / Generative AI.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience).

• Experience in the health and wellness sector is preferred.

• Hands-on full-stack development experience with AngularJS, JavaScript, Oracle, and modern databases like NoSQL is preferred.

• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and techniques, including NLP, text generation and summarization, conversational AI, and chatbots is preferred.

• Practical experience in developing user-facing features and/or applications is preferred.

• Ability to create and execute scalable roadmaps is preferred.

• Willingness to learn and work with emerging cloud and IT technologies, methodologies, and solutions is preferred.

• Capability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and build relationships is preferred.
