Senior Defined Benefits Technical Lead Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert for Defined Benefits administration and the functionality of LWConnect.

• Collaborate with clients and Customer Success Managers on systemic modifications, enhancements, requirements, and issue resolution.

• Coordinate efforts with the OTS and other technology teams to ensure the effective delivery of system changes.

• Convert Defined Benefits plan provisions and business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Assist in pension administration processes, including benefit calculations, eligibility determinations, participant data, and plan rules.

• Lead the gathering of requirements, conduct impact analysis, oversee system enhancements, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Investigate complex system and data issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose potential solutions.

• Mentor Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts through project tasks and deliverables.

• Create process flows, requirements documentation, user manuals, and training materials.

• Serve as a liaison among business, operations, clients, and technology teams.

• Convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Defined Benefits pension administration.

• Proficient in supporting pension and benefits administration systems.

• Strong background as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst.

• Familiarity with Defined Benefits plan provisions, benefit calculations, eligibility, and participant data.

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, system modifications, testing, and UAT.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including expertise in root cause analysis.

• Experience collaborating across business and technical teams.

• Capability to work autonomously and lead complex projects.

• LWConnect experience is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in a Technical Lead or Defined Benefits Subject Matter Expert role is preferred.

• Experience in coordinating technology efforts with OTS or similar technical delivery teams is preferred.

• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization/reporting tools is preferred.

• A college or university degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
