Staff Software Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design, architecture, and development of highly scalable web applications.

• Create and implement engaging, interactive dashboards and user-friendly interfaces.

• Design and build secure, scalable APIs alongside integration layers.

• Connect applications with various data objects, enterprise databases, and external platforms.

• Integrate AI/ML technologies, including large language models, generative AI, and predictive analytics.

• Develop intelligent features that automate workflows and enhance data synthesis.

• Promote continuous delivery and best practices for cloud-native development.

• Architect, sustain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Set standards for monitoring, logging, and performance profiling.

• Act as the point of escalation for intricate full-stack production issues and lead root-cause analyses.

• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers.

• Establish coding standards and reusable design patterns.

• Collaborate with product leadership to refine the backlog and define the technical roadmap.

• Develop solutions to enhance Payer metadata, automate Payer lifecycle contracts, and assess Payer performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.

• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.

• Experience with complex state management and data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, or Highcharts.

• Extensive knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks including Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or Go.

• Demonstrated capability to design scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Strong background with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Experience with ORMs and integrating complex, high-volume data feeds into application layers.

• Practical experience in integrating AI models and APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic into software products.

• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and vector databases.

• Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Experience with containerization and Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: experience in developing internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.

• Preferred: familiarity with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Preferred: experience with DevSecOps practices and data compliance.
