This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in daily operations, which includes participating in an on-call rotation.
• Design and develop efficient detective tools and automation solutions.
• Take part in application and system threat modeling initiatives.
• Involved in incident response activities.
• Align the vision and strategy for Detection and Response.
• Create and present multi-year roadmaps, programs, and projects.
• Ensure prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery in a dynamic business environment.
• Collaborate across departments to tackle threats and activities from threat actors.
• Identify areas for improvement within the business and the Incident Response program.
• Conduct research on technology and security, as well as architecture reviews.
• Develop systems and services that simplify intricate security issues.
• Foster relationships with internal clients to facilitate effective solutions.
• Mentor and support the long-term development and success of team members.
• Over 3 years of experience in security engineering within a production-cloud environment.
• Expertise in security issues and relevant technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and building AI Agents and Agentic workflows.
• Ability to leverage AI for comprehensive and complex threat hunting activities that yield high-fidelity detections.
• Familiarity with detecting and responding to next-generation Artificial Intelligence threats using MITRE ATLAS or a comparable framework.
• Advanced understanding of service-oriented architectures along with cloud security tools and technologies.
• Experience addressing difficult security challenges and initiatives across a technology stack.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and enhancing their functionality.
• Proficiency with SOAR tools and automating manual security processes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or other major cloud platforms.
• This position is not available for hiring in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all organizational levels is desired.
• A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
