Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, which include mental health history, medical history, diagnostic assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate medication management and brief psychotherapy as needed.

• Provide care that is compassionate, respectful, and centered on the patient.

• Employ evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing methods.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical colleagues through consultations and case reviews.

• Effectively utilize technology and operational systems to ensure dependable telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• Hold an active, unrestricted APRN license or other state-issued authorization to practice as a PMHNP.

• Meet the active DEA individual practitioner registration requirements as applicable.

• Demonstrate strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Be comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Show a commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
