Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations that encompass mental health history, medical background, diagnostic assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that integrate medication management and brief psychotherapy as needed.

• Offer compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.

• Utilize evidence-based clinical guidelines and responsible prescribing methods.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical colleagues through consultations and case evaluations.

• Effectively leverage technology and operational systems to provide dependable telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted state-issued license to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• Demonstrate strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Be comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Show a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.

• Hold an active, unrestricted APRN license or similar state-issued authorization to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• An active DEA individual practitioner registration is required in the application process.

• Availability for full-time or part-time work is needed.
