Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations that include mental health history, medical history, diagnostic assessments, and risk analysis.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate medication management and brief psychotherapy as necessary.

• Provide care that is compassionate, respectful, and centered around the patient.

• Employ evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical colleagues through consultations and case reviews.

• Utilize technology and operational systems effectively to ensure consistent telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management abilities.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Show a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

• Must currently maintain an active, unrestricted APRN license or equivalent state-issued authorization to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• Active DEA individual practitioner registration will be evaluated during the application process.
