Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations that encompass mental health history, medical history, diagnostic assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that integrate medication management with brief psychotherapy when applicable.

• Offer compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused care.

• Utilize evidence-based clinical protocols and sound prescribing practices.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical colleagues through consultations and case reviews.

• Effectively leverage technology and operational systems to provide dependable telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current, unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• Active and unrestricted APRN or other state-issued PMHNP practice authorization.

• Individual DEA practitioner registration must be active as required by the application process.

• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in providing remote care and utilizing electronic health record systems.
