Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth platforms.

• Offer patient support for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and more.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, encompassing mental health history, medical history, diagnostic assessments, and risk analysis.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that integrate medication management and brief psychotherapy.

• Provide empathetic, respectful, and patient-focused care.

• Utilize evidence-based clinical guidelines and responsible prescribing methods.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical colleagues through consultations and case reviews.

• Effectively leverage technology and operational systems to ensure dependable telehealth service delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.

• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management abilities.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Show commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

• Hold an active, unrestricted APRN license or other state-issued PMHNP practice authorization.

• Active DEA individual practitioner registration is requested in the application form.
