Staff Product Design Engineer – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Engage in high-impact projects at Fever, including discovery surfaces like the feed and AI-powered assistant, essential reports, data-driven decision-making tools, immersive funnels, and innovative business initiatives.

• Collaborate with users and product managers to define problems, determine worthwhile projects, and validate hypotheses through SQL, dashboards, and metrics.

• Design and prototype interfaces for both B2C and B2B Fever products.

• Transform designs into functional prototypes or production-ready features when necessary.

• Work alongside engineers using GitHub and in development and production environments.

• Incorporate AI into daily workflows to brainstorm ideas, prototype, and expedite processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product design, with a robust background and strong knowledge of front-end development.

• Product-oriented thinking focused on user challenges, business requirements, and impact rather than merely features, with the ability to articulate trade-offs.

• A refined eye and high-level craftsmanship, showcased in a portfolio that elucidates the thought process behind the work.

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, responsive layouts, and design systems.

• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and a contemporary framework such as React.

• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and development/production environments.

• Comfortable utilizing SQL, dashboards, and metrics for testing ideas and making informed decisions.

• A passion for technology and software development, with an understanding of the rationale behind technical choices.

• Experience using AI, assessing outputs, safeguarding sensitive data, and comprehending deployed code.

• A portfolio is mandatory; applications lacking a portfolio will not be considered.

• Experience in designing data-intensive products or working with LLMs is a plus.

• Side projects that showcase personal interests in building are considered a plus.
