Staff Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the long-term roadmap for Platform Engineering.

• Make strategic decisions regarding architecture and technology across the platform domain.

• Establish engineering standards, implement cloud-native practices, and set quality benchmarks.

• Drive the adoption of a platform-centric operating model along with self-service capabilities.

• Provide technical leadership during the transition from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Shape the technical foundations necessary for scalable and secure AI adoption.

• Collaborate with Staff Engineers, engineering leaders, and cross-domain stakeholders to create a cohesive platform vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background in Platform Engineering at scale.

• Extensive expertise in Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and Architecture.

• Experience in developing internal developer platforms and self-service ecosystems.

• Ability to influence technical decisions across various teams without relying on formal authority.

• Demonstrated ownership, autonomy, and a results-oriented mindset.

• Enthusiasm for mentoring senior technical talent and enhancing engineering standards.
