Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create clean, reusable CSS and HTML components that comply with accessibility standards and design guidelines.

• Set up and oversee product features using a version-controlled, modular approach.

• Design and develop RESTful API endpoints for both internal and external users.

• Write efficient SQL queries and enhance database schemas for high-traffic scenarios.

• Work closely with UX/UI designers to convert wireframes into functional, interactive prototypes.

• Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards across both front-end and back-end teams.

• Track application performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement improvements for reliability.

• Automate deployment pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Integrate third-party services while ensuring secure authentication and authorization processes.

• Evaluate user feedback to refine product features and technical enhancements.

• 0+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong expertise in CSS, HTML, and responsive design methodologies.

• Experience in both creating and utilizing REST APIs within a production context.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and the capability to write intricate SQL queries.

• Demonstrated ability to convert product configurations into scalable code solutions.

• Awareness of UI/UX principles with an attentive eye for design details.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to system reliability.

• Excellent communication skills and comfort in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
