This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Oversee the daily operations of a team consisting of pharmacists and technicians.
• Assess productivity, performance benchmarks, production volume, workflow, and project assignments.
• Organize and supervise staff schedules and daily workflows.
• Enhance employee skills, assess performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage the resolution of employee relations issues.
• Conduct hiring processes, training sessions, and staff evaluations.
• Monitor employee adherence to quality, service, and production standards.
• Evaluate prescription turnaround times against internal benchmarks and client performance commitments.
• Assist the Senior Pharmacy Manager in tracking costs and achieving cost-to-fill objectives.
• Address staff inquiries and operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional matters.
• Participate in production activities as necessary.
• Implement initiatives and process enhancements to improve customer service.
• Analyze pharmacy operations and overall efficiencies alongside the Senior Pharmacy Manager.
• Act as an escalation point for intricate issues.
• Represent pharmacy operations in cross-departmental meetings and projects.
• Complete additional special projects and assigned duties.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, RPh or Pharm D, with licensure and registration in the state of employment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Preferably 1 year of experience at Express Scripts.
• Current pharmacy licensure in good standing.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email proficiency.
• Strong understanding of existing pharmacy regulations.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to effectively mentor and support team members.
• Experience in training and coaching junior staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment and make independent decisions.
• Advanced problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate with other departments to address complex issues.
• Technical knowledge of ESI’s systems, platforms, products, and services is advantageous.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak periods.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Access to cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for remote work.
