This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Interpret prescriptions from physicians or prescribers.
• Communicate with prescribers and/or patients to confirm prescription details and hasten order processing.
• Work alongside prescribers to customize infusion regimens, including pre-medications and medications for adverse reactions.
• Validate prescription information entered by data or order entry personnel.
• Ensure the safety and accuracy of refilled prescriptions.
• Reach out to physicians regarding new and transferred prescriptions.
• Advise patients on medication usage, possible drug interactions, adverse reactions, and strategies for mitigation.
• Offer advice on medication stability and safe usage within professional guidelines.
• Supervise and ensure quality assurance for pharmacy technicians.
• Monitor order status and address outstanding issues.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding lost orders or dispensing mistakes.
• Uphold daily production, quality, and service standards while adjusting to evolving priorities.
• Support other pharmacists, execute assigned tasks, and mentor less experienced pharmacists.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the resident state.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with other departments to address issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting prescriptions.
• Strong customer service orientation with diverse patient interaction experience.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy while ensuring process efficiency.
• Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized to ensure timely training and follow-up in patient care.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment.

• Competency in navigating IT systems and independently troubleshooting basic IT challenges.

• Residency in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, or Pennsylvania is required.
• Availability during training Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
• Post-training availability Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, along with a one-week on-call rotation approximately twice a year and two Saturdays each year.
• Access to home internet via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
