
Staff Pharmacist – Advanced Pulmonary Conditions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Oversee and ensure quality assurance for pharmacy technicians.
• Interpret prescriptions from physicians or other prescribers.
• Reach out to doctors and/or patients to confirm prescription details and facilitate order processing.
• Validate and confirm the legitimacy of controlled substances.
• Confirm prescription information entered by data entry or order entry personnel.
• Contact physicians for new authorization or transfer requests.
• Collaborate with physicians to switch prescriptions to generic or preferred medications whenever feasible.
• Advise patients on medication usage and possible drug interactions.
• Monitor order status and address any outstanding issues.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding lost orders or dispensing errors.
• Uphold daily standards for production, quality, and service.
• Adjust work priorities and tasks to meet business demands.
• Provide backup support to other pharmacists as necessary.
• Mentor less experienced pharmacists.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Possess a current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Must reside in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrate advanced problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to address issues.
• Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of reading and interpreting prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on customer service, quality, and precision.
• Manage timelines effectively and meet stringent client deadlines.
• Adapt well to a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak periods.
• Open to either assigned shift schedule.
• During training, available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am–6:00 pm Eastern Time.
• Post-training availability for Monday–Friday from 11:00 am–8:00 pm EST or 9:00 am–6:00 pm EST for candidates in FL, OH, and PA, or 1:00 pm–10:00 pm EST for candidates in AZ.
• Reliable home internet service through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider, with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
