Staff Mobile Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and manage mobile SDKs for Stytch’s identity and fraud detection solutions on Twilio.

• Focus on device internals and intricate signal collection to enhance the identification of malicious actors.

• Deliver SDK interfaces that facilitate authentication, agenting, and use cases involving non-human identities.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to establish direction and execute roadmap features.

• Work alongside Twilio and Stytch teams on architecture and platform integration.

• Write design documents, drive technical decisions, review code, and maintain accountability for deployed systems.

• Deconstruct complex issues, make practical trade-offs, and design effective developer experiences.

• Enhance production quality and resilience through observability, incident response, and remediation efforts.

• Mentor and assist engineers through collaborative work, constructive feedback, and knowledge-sharing.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in mobile engineering.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications.

• Proficiency in Android development, with fluency in Kotlin or Java.

• In-depth knowledge of mobile development ecosystems, frameworks, and third-party libraries.

• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, monitoring, observability, and sustainable systems.

• Experience in making significant technical decisions and spearheading technical initiatives.

• Demonstrated history of promoting technical excellence while prioritizing customer needs.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to participate in non-standard on-call rotation during weekends and holidays.

• This position is available for remote work in the US or Canada.
