This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with teams from Data Science, Data Engineering, Cloud Center of Excellence, DevOps, and Delivery Platforms to ensure that machine learning engineering solutions align with business goals.
• Utilize AWS, Databricks, Spark, and big data technologies to create scalable machine learning solutions for millions of users.
• Develop automated data and modeling pipelines while integrating and deploying machine learning software features.
• Lead the optimization of CI/CD workflows to enhance scalability and resilience.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues and bugs, addressing Application Security vulnerabilities in collaboration with the Application Security and CCOE teams.
• Promote the adoption of machine learning engineering best practices across various teams.
• Contribute to the development of formal training programs and materials for the adoption of MLE tools.
• Engage in cross-functional meetings and discussions to offer feedback, requirements, and inquiries.
• Architect, develop, and optimize machine learning models, infrastructure, and solutions.
• Enhance product features and improve the machine learning infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field in software companies; or an advanced degree with 3 years of proven success in machine learning engineering or similar experience.
• Experience in developing production-grade machine learning models and infrastructure using Python.
• Strong expertise in advanced Python and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK or Pulumi.
• Ability to leverage machine learning engineering to achieve business outcomes.
• Capacity to translate business challenges into machine learning engineering problems and effectively communicate results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative work style and openness to share ideas.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong grasp of data engineering and software engineering principles.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
• Capability to sit at a desk or workstation for 7–8 hours a day.
