Senior AI/ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the main recommendation system for our core product.

• Manage, implement, and optimize AI tools for natural language processing, including customer service chatbots across various brands.

• Tackle complex challenges utilizing advanced machine learning, artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, and optimization methods.

• Administer the complete machine learning lifecycle, which encompasses preprocessing, feature engineering, problem formulation, algorithm selection and evaluation, modeling, hyperparameter tuning, and model deployment.

• Utilize predictive modeling to enhance customer experiences, increase revenue, improve ad targeting, and influence other business metrics.

• Extract and analyze data from company databases to refine product development, marketing strategies, and business plans.

• Design, develop, and execute production-level code.

• Take ownership of the entire development process, including design, development, impact assessment, A/B testing, result interpretation, and production deployment.

• Act as a subject matter expert in data, advanced analytics, and data visualization.

• Ensure precise interpretation of business metrics, data models, and analytical reports.

• Collaborate with functional teams to implement models and track outcomes.

• Guarantee the delivery of high-quality data products.

• Identify, design, and execute internal process enhancements.

• Advocate for a data-driven and customer-centric culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, analytics engineering, or a similar highly analytical position.

• A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Analytics.

• Extensive experience with Python.

• Strong familiarity with AWS services, including S3, SageMaker, and Bedrock.

• Proficient with AI engineering tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.

• Solid experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including vector databases like PGVector.

• Advanced SQL skills, including knowledge of Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and window functions.

• Proven expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in a production environment.

• Demonstrated success in leading advanced Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI products and services.

• Experience in developing predictive models for new product offerings.

• Capability to identify data science opportunities for enhancing products, processes, and model or analytical precision.

• Strong analytical skills to address business inquiries using data.

• Exceptional organization, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in conveying customer requirements, architectural needs, and product objectives across cross-functional teams.

• Ability to simplify complex processes for non-technical stakeholders.

• Aptitude for educating team members.

• Capacity to lead, inspire, and work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Experience in supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting.

• Confident in decision-making and capable of articulating processes or choices.
