This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
β’ Lead the technical design and development of enterprise integration and automation projects.
β’ Architect microservices, APIs, event-driven workflows, and secure integration patterns based on AWS.
β’ Provide hands-on programming support for backend services, APIs, databases, and automation processes.
β’ Guide developers through design reviews, code assessments, troubleshooting, and ensuring production readiness.
β’ Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
β’ Assist in designing and implementing AI/agentic automation use cases across various business functions.
β’ Establish engineering best practices regarding the software development life cycle (SDLC), documentation, testing, observability, security, and release management.
β’ Address production issues and lead root cause analysis for long-term solutions.
β’ Design, construct, troubleshoot, and guide others in the delivery of secure, scalable, and business-oriented technology solutions.
β’ Travel to the Denver corporate headquarters or other North American office locations as necessary.
β’ Strong background in software engineering with practical experience in backend development.
β’ Proficient in designing and building solutions on the AWS Cloud.
β’ Extensive knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, databases, authentication, and integration patterns.
β’ Experience with automation platforms such as Workato or similar integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools.
β’ Familiarity with AWS Bedrock.
β’ Capability to lead technical design discussions and mentor fellow engineers.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Practical understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
β’ Preferred: experience in AI automation, AI agents, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agentic workflows.
β’ Preferred: experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, CloudWatch, and IAM.
β’ Preferred: knowledge of security, compliance, SOX controls, and audit-ready engineering practices.
β’ Must be eligible to work without sponsorship.
β’ Must reside in the United States or Canada.
