Senior Full-Stack Engineer, React/Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain production-quality applications utilizing React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Create backend services, APIs, integrations, and manage server-side validation.

• Oversee PostgreSQL schemas, including migrations, queries, indexes, and performance optimization.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability.

• Architect scalable systems employing caching, queues, and background processing.

• Enhance legacy code and assist in ongoing technical improvements.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical decisions clearly.

• Operate in a dynamic fintech setting during EST hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficient and recent experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Comprehensive full-stack expertise; candidates with a primary focus on frontend will not be considered.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, including migrations and indexing.

• Experience working in production environments on AWS.

• Familiarity with ECS/Fargate, containers, S3, and CloudFront is preferred.

• Knowledge of system design, third-party integrations, and end-to-end testing.

• Comfortable utilizing AI coding tools like Claude.

• Strong communication abilities in both English and Russian.

• Experience in fintech or payments is preferred, particularly with knowledge of ACH, reconciliation, compliance, and idempotency.
