This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +3 more states.

• Design and execute scalable data pipelines, transformation layers, and data products accompanied by comprehensive documentation.

• Establish best practices for testing, data modeling, CI/CD pipelines, and data quality frameworks.

• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and product engineering teams to convert business objectives into robust technical designs.

• Actively monitor pipeline performance and enhance data infrastructure to ensure teams rely on accurate data.

• Foster team development through code reviews, technical collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

• Extensive professional experience in data engineering with a demonstrated ability to design end-to-end data systems.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.

• Familiarity with data transformation tools like dbt.

• Practical experience in building and managing batch or streaming pipelines.

• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.

• Capable of writing clear technical specifications and articulating complex trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Willingness to accept feedback, eagerness to learn, and a desire to make a significant impact.

• Preferred but not mandatory: experience with streaming architectures, infrastructure-as-code, or fast-paced health-tech environments.
