This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sales pipeline and address any overlaps in ongoing and confirmed revenue or duplicated deals.

• Establish and communicate forecast accuracy in relation to annual objectives.

• Set benchmarks for monitoring commercial metrics throughout the team.

• Identify and resolve CRM data quality concerns, including parent-child asset relationships.

• Perform analysis on commercial opportunities and partner performance.

• Detect pipeline underperformance, emerging trends, and risks prior to their manifestation in primary forecasts.

• Convert intricate analyses, such as retention and renewal trends, into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate with commercial and sales stakeholders to establish agreed-upon metric standards.

• Transform complex data into engaging narratives that motivate action among non-technical audiences.

• Enhance data utilization, enabling commercial team members to independently find routine answers.

• Report to the Analytics Manager, with priorities jointly determined with the commercial team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SQL skills for analyzing complex datasets within modern analytics environments, such as dbt, Omni, or comparable BI tools.

• Strong commercial insight, linking analytical results to revenue and margin impacts.

• Experience in developing forecasts or scenario models and articulating variance drivers from actual figures.

• Capability to transform vague stakeholder inquiries into clearly defined analytical challenges.

• Proficient in presenting recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in creating reliable metrics or reports from disorganized or inconsistent data sources, like CRM and transactional systems.

• Background in energy, fintech, or other commercially intricate, data-intensive industries.

• Knowledge of Python for advanced statistical or data quality tasks.

• Experience in developing metric frameworks that link operational activities to commercial results.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and data structures related to parent-child/account hierarchies.

• Fluent in English, with speaking, reading, and writing proficiency.
