Field Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Organize and facilitate product training sessions for customers, either at their locations in the US or via remote platforms.

• Evaluate customers’ technical needs and tailor training delivery accordingly.

• Conduct internal training on products and applications for the Business Development team and distributors.

• Ensure the US sales team remains knowledgeable and updated on product changes and camera functionalities.

• Deliver high-quality technical support to customers.

• Offer technical assistance during customer qualification processes, demonstrations, and meetings with prospective clients.

• Gather information regarding end-user applications.

• Analyze and disseminate operational market insights collected from customer interactions.

• Assist with regulatory and compliance initiatives, including EPA applications, by providing necessary technical information and documentation.

• Test new products and features, offering structured feedback based on findings.

• Advocate for the customer perspective throughout the product development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Prior experience in a similar position.

• Experience in technical customer support and/or client training is essential.

• Technical sales experience is advantageous.

• Strong technical writing skills are required.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering training to various audience sizes, both in-person and virtually, ranging from small groups to around 50 participants.

• Experience in designing and developing training materials and concepts.

• Previous technical and/or scientific publications are a plus.

• Knowledge of EPA regulations is a benefit.

• Strong project management skills.

• Capability to collaborate across different levels, functions, and geographical locations.

• Resourceful with solid problem-solving abilities.

• High emotional intelligence, maintaining composure while addressing customer requests diplomatically.

• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability.

• Proficient in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

• Valid driving license.
