Staff Brand Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create engaging static 2D and 3D designs for Kraken Consumer and Krak across various launches, campaigns, promotions, and ongoing activities.

• Conceptualize, model, illuminate, texture, and render 3D assets using Cinema 4D.

• Implement and enhance the Kraken Consumer brand across social media, lifecycle marketing, web platforms, illustrations, and foundational branding initiatives.

• Design tailored work for specific initiatives, including partner-branded materials for launches like IPOs and custom illustrations for go-to-market and product moments.

• Develop scalable component libraries in Figma, create marketing templates, and modular campaign kits with layouts ready for localization.

• Appropriately utilize AI-assisted production tools in the brand development process.

• Contribute ideas and a design perspective to project briefs.

• Adapt and localize work for different markets, languages, and formats.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, compliance, and regional teams to obtain necessary approvals.

• Work alongside motion, web, performance, and AI video designers.

• Uphold a high standard of craftsmanship and provide constructive critiques.

• Report to the Creative Lead, Consumer Creative & Design while functioning as a senior individual contributor without direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in brand, static, and 3D design within a high-volume in-house team or agency setting.

• Ideally, experience in fintech, crypto, or another regulated sector; prior experience at a competitor or similar company is advantageous.

• Submission of a portfolio with the application showcasing brand and static work, including at least one 3D piece with a process note, adaptations for various formats or markets, and a system or template set utilized by others.

• Proficient in Cinema 4D and the surrounding 3D workflow: modeling, lighting, materials, and rendering, with completed projects.

• Expert-level skills in Figma, including components, auto layout, and variables.

• Strong proficiency in layout, hierarchy, typography, and composition across small sizes and multiple languages.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted production tools.

• Familiarity with working within regulatory parameters, including risk warnings, disclaimers, and market-specific requirements.

• Working familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for basic motion graphics.

• Ability to efficiently handle tight turnarounds, multiple review cycles, and last-minute changes.

• Clear and effective communication skills using plain language.

• A genuine interest in investing and cryptocurrency.

• Capability to work from an eligible location and provide details on work city and country.
