Staff Appraiser – Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute quality assessments for desktop and field appraisals within set client-driven timelines.

• Conduct quality control evaluations on intricate valuation reports, such as jumbo loans, private wealth/high net worth assessments, and unique or complex properties.

• Communicate with field appraisers to address and resolve complex or urgent revision requests.

• Address quality control escalations by mentoring field appraisers, discussing concerns and solutions with clients, and keeping all parties updated.

• Comprehend, apply, and uphold current knowledge of ServiceLink policies and procedures.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of USPAP, FNMA, and relevant state regulations.

• Keep appraisal license(s) in good standing and fulfill required CEU courses.

• Achieve ServiceLink quality standards for the completion and delivery of appraisal reports.

• Provide prompt web updates regarding assignments.

• Conduct site visits while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Should be located within a reasonable commuting distance from Houston, Texas.

• Possess appraisal expertise in the Houston, Texas market.

• Must be a Certified real estate appraiser in Texas.

• Should hold a Certified Residential or Certified General appraiser designation; trainee or licensed appraisers are not eligible.

• A High School Diploma/GED is required.

• Experience in appraising a diverse range of property types is necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft software products.

• Must have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

• Prior valuation experience with a major lender or AMC is preferred.

• A college degree is preferred.

• Advanced designations are a plus.
