This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Controller.

• Manage general ledger activities, which include prepaids, commissions, credit card transactions, bonuses, provider payments, accruals, and closing processes.

• Oversee month-end accruals and assigned reconciliations.

• Take responsibility for prepaid schedules and monthly reconciliations.

• Work alongside the cash application team to accurately book receivables and open transactions prior to month-end.

• Assist with the accounts payable inbox and other associated tasks.

• Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures, encompassing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Manage payment processors, including Rippling, Tiplati, and Deel.

• Oversee the PO/PR process across all BetterHelp segments.

• Prepare fluctuation analyses for balance sheets and income statements for management reporting.

• Identify and execute opportunities for automation and process enhancements.

• Aid in projects and various ad-hoc assignments.

• Provide schedules for audit and SOX compliance requirements.

• Support intercompany and international transactions through foreign currency accounting.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

• Strong mathematical abilities.

• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

• Proficient in Google Drive, Google Sheets, Excel, and Query.

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with foreign currency accounting.

• Identity and credential verification, including live or video interviews, as well as fraud or misrepresentation screening during the hiring process.
