SSR Java Spark Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Enhance performance to ensure timely execution of daily batch processes

• Integrate quantitative libraries effectively

• Develop tests and address security vulnerabilities

• Maintain a stable and efficient CI pipeline

• Collaborate closely with Quants, Data, and the IMM team

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java with a focus on performance, memory management, and multi-threading

• Comfortable with numerical computing, intensive calculations, and parallel processing

• Background in developing internal models for credit counterparty risk

• Familiarity with build and testing tools: JUnit, Git, and CI/CD

• Experience with Spark and Parquet technologies

• Proficient in English at B2/C1 level

• Experience with AWS is an advantage

• Basic knowledge of risk/XVA is beneficial and can be acquired during the job
