Sponsorship Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Establish media partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising agreements with crypto-native and Web3 companies, as well as with broader fintech and technology brands.

• Collaborate closely with the current revenue team.

• Manage the entire sales process.

• Utilize The Block's industry network to enhance knowledge and cultivate a personal brand on social media and within the industry.

• Maintain a pipeline of mid-market sponsorship and advertising prospects.

• Identify, present, and finalize deals across display advertisements, podcasts, newsletters, events, and custom initiatives.

• Foster connections with marketing leaders, growth teams, and brand managers within the crypto and fintech sectors.

• Partner with Media, Research, and Events teams to develop sponsorship solutions.

• Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Keep up-to-date with crypto market trends, key players, and shifts in marketing budgets.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in media, advertising, or sponsorship sales.

• Strong comprehension of crypto, blockchain, and digital assets.

• Proven track record in building pipelines and consistently closing mid-sized sponsorship agreements ($10K–$100K).

• Excellent client relationship management abilities and a proactive, hunter mentality.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Legal authorization to work in the country of residence or where this position is located without requiring sponsorship.

• Experience in selling across various media formats (display, audio, events, content syndication) is an advantage.
