Splice Technician Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Organize and supervise the daily operations of splice technician teams.

• Manage project tracking details, including production sheets, work orders, and necessary customer documentation.

• Interpret and adhere to the design engineer's instructions and specifications while ensuring project scope and compliance with safety protocols.

• Monitor data and enclosure splicing tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

• Keep records of both internal and external splicers.

• Coordinate schedules and assignments, ensuring that splicing teams are properly resourced.

• Oversee contractor billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoices.

• Maintain organized records of contractor billing statements and invoices for reconciliation and reporting purposes.

• Monitor materials needed for splicing teams and request additional supplies as necessary.

• Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate activities, address issues, and guarantee project success.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Eligibility for employment in the US without sponsorship.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Prior experience in telecommunications is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AutoCad and Google Earth is required.

• Strong communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.

• Proficient in using MS Office applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with teleconferencing tools is essential.

• Functional knowledge of common office equipment, computers, and office software.

• A High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
