This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.

• Create personalized therapy plans and objectives tailored to assessment findings and individual student needs.

• Deliver direct therapy sessions focusing on articulation, phonology, language understanding, fluency, and pragmatic skills.

• Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and educational team members to facilitate students' communication objectives.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic activities during therapy sessions.

• Track students' progress and modify therapy plans as necessary.

• Accurately and promptly record therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent information.

• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute insights regarding students' speech and language requirements.

• Offer speech and language therapy services to PreK-12 students via E-Therapy's technology-enhanced platform.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Current ASHA certification is mandatory.

• Enthusiastic about working with K-12 students in a virtual environment.

• Experience in providing speech-language therapy services within a school or pediatric context.

• Proficient in assessment tools and therapeutic approaches commonly utilized in pediatric speech-language pathology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with keen attention to detail.

• Experience in teletherapy is preferred.

• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy is preferred.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a computer keyboard and mouse.

• Proficient in verbal and written communication.

• Capability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
