Specimen Management Clinical Specialist, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate a dynamic and evolving partnership between Specimen Management and clients in a Clinical Process advisory role.

• Maintain expertise and knowledge as a product specialist for Specimen Management as products and guidelines develop.

• Collaborate with key opinion leaders within accounts to pinpoint critical areas for enhancement.

• Establish clear project goals and expectations to attain efficiency in processes and effectiveness in departments.

• Actively ensure optimal workflow and effective product utilization.

• Drive project processes using best practices and financial analysis to achieve outcomes identified by customers.

• Conduct interviews with stakeholders and process owners to support recommendations for process improvement.

• Lead and collaborate on change management initiatives associated with process improvement suggestions.

• Engage stakeholders to garner support and buy-in for process recommendations.

• Present findings and reports to Nursing, Laboratory, Infection Prevention, Occupational Health, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, and Senior Hospital Management audiences.

• Continue collaborative efforts to ensure ongoing improvement stemming from projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, nursing, life science, or a related field.

• MT ASCP, LEAN Certification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

• Preferred background in Nursing.

• At least 4-6 years of experience with a proven track record in process improvement, best practices, and change management within the Medical Device/IVD industries.

• Strong financial and analytical skills and their application to sales tools.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Basic understanding of Hospital and Laboratory IT (LIS data).

• Capability to integrate projects within BDX Sales Organizations and Marketing Departments.

• Experience in Hospital Lab and/or Hospital Infection Prevention is preferred.

• Ability to work in a field-based role with significant face-to-face interaction with BD customers.
