This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs
• Establish pre-call planning objectives and conduct evaluations after calls
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while driving calls to action for closing sales
• Meet customer needs and expectations while fostering trusted relationships
• Design and execute call plans to enhance coverage and frequency with key customers
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales
• Communicate market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with designated health providers
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience
• Equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years, including at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED required
• Demonstrated record of leadership success

• Robust business acumen
• Proficient in the use of business tools
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adapt the sales approach accordingly
• Effectively function in a matrix environment
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing
• In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects preferred
• Proficiency in the English language preferred for non-English-speaking countries
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and maintain good standing and/or eligibility for them
• Capability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and provide proof of immunization/vaccination or fingerprinting if required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving standards
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment
