This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and initiatives in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish strong customer connections and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
• Formulate and carry out call plans to enhance customer outreach and sales prospects.
• Gain insights into customer requirements, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales proficiency.
• Communicate market insights with field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition for healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five years, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, with a high school diploma/GED required.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Proven success in sales along with excellent presentation abilities.
• Capability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Documented leadership and support success at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and maintain good standing and/or be eligible to obtain them.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to drive a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
