This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Foster customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales.

• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.

• Manage objections and consistently secure actions during sales discussions.

• Create and execute call plans to optimize customer engagement and frequency.

• Acquire knowledge about customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales techniques.

• Disseminate market intelligence among field, brand, and sales teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant legal regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or applicable equivalent industry experience.

• Minimum of five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector is preferred.

• High school diploma/GED is required when utilizing experience as a substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

• Capability to adapt sales techniques to different customer styles and behaviors.

• Proficiency in operating effectively within a matrix environment.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.

• Strategic and critical thinking skills.

• Proven leadership and support achievements at district, regional, or organizational levels.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, for non-English-speaking countries.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be eligible to obtain necessary credentials.

• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.

• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
