This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call planning objectives and carry out post-call assessments.

• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings, and conclude sales calls with suitable calls to action.

• Create and implement call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities.

• Acquire knowledge about customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales practices.

• Distribute market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.

• Collaborate within a matrix environment with district colleagues and matrix teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.

• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, including at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector, is preferred if lacking a bachelor's degree.

• A high school diploma/GED is mandatory when qualifying through experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.

• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to lead and support success at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

• Must comply with safe driving requirements.
