This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Oversee designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Establish robust customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.

• Manage objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales conversations.

• Create and execute call plans to enhance customer outreach and sales opportunities.

• Evaluate customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales metrics.

• Distribute market intelligence to field teams, brand teams, and sales managers.

• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare professionals.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.

• In the absence of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED is required.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business insight and proficient use of business tools.

• Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills.

• Proven success in sales.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Capability to function effectively in a matrix environment.

• Experience in leadership and support roles at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.

• Prior experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for non-English-speaking regions.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
