This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and field tactics.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
• Fulfill customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Create and implement call plans to maximize coverage, frequency, access, and sales opportunities.
• Enhance knowledge of customer requirements, territorial market conditions, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales methodologies.
• Communicate market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with designated healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
• Equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least 5 years of experience, including 3 or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry preferred, plus a high school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Proficient in using business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to identify customer styles/behaviors and modify the selling approach accordingly.
• Effective operation within a matrix environment.
• Preferred success in sales performance within the relevant therapeutic area.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred thorough scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Proficiency in English preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, and fingerprinting may be necessary.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and adhere to safe driving standards.
