This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Implement brand strategies and initiatives in the field.
β’ Oversee the management of designated territory and targeted accounts.
β’ Foster robust customer relationships and address customer needs effectively.
β’ Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
β’ Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
β’ Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings that arise during sales interactions.
β’ Obtain logical calls to action and successfully close sales calls.
β’ Attend to customer requirements and establish trusted relationships.
β’ Create and implement call strategies to enhance coverage and frequency for key clients.
β’ Acquire knowledge of customer needs, territorial dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales practices.
β’ Share market insights with field, brand, and sales teams.
β’ Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
β’ Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
β’ Adhere to AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
β’ A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
β’ Minimum of five years of experience, which includes at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry, can substitute for a bachelor's degree.
β’ A high school diploma/GED is necessary when relying on experience instead of a bachelor's degree.
β’ Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
β’ Excellent presentation skills.
β’ Strong business acumen.
β’ Proficient in the use of business tools.
β’ Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
β’ Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust sales techniques accordingly.
β’ Proficient in functioning effectively within a matrix environment.
β’ Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial sector, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
β’ Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
β’ Proficiency in the English language is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
β’ Must meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
β’ Background checks, drug testing, proof of immunization/vaccination, and fingerprinting may be required.
β’ A valid driver's license is necessary.
β’ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
β’ Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
