This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement brand strategy and initiatives in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings, securing actions to finalize sales calls.
• Meet customer expectations and requirements to foster trusted relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and implement call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Gain insight into customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
• Provide market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speaker/advocate networks.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment as necessary.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience in place of a bachelor's degree, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated success in leadership roles.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Robust business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to identify customer styles/behaviors and adapt sales approaches accordingly.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in a matrix organizational environment.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or eligibility for these credentials.
• Background checks, drug tests, proof of immunization/vaccination, and fingerprinting may be necessary.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must comply with safe driving standards.
