This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts

• Establish robust customer relationships and address customer needs

• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments

• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while motivating actions to finalize sales calls

• Attend to customer needs and expectations to foster trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements

• Formulate and implement call strategies to enhance customer reach and frequency

• Gain insights into customer needs, territory market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales methodologies

• Provide market intelligence to in-field teams, brand teams, and the sales manager

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers

• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates

• Collaborate with district colleagues and cross-functional teams

• Engage with specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience

• A minimum of five years of experience, with three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

• High school diploma/GED is required

• Proven history of success in sales

• Strong presentation abilities

• Capacity to adapt sales techniques to align with customer styles and behaviors

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred

• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing

• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing criteria

• Must maintain good standing and/or be eligible to obtain necessary credentials

• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive information

• Strong business insight and proficiency with business tools

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking

• Ability to function effectively in a matrix organizational structure

• Valid driver’s license

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test

• Must fulfill safe driving criteria

• Ability to drive a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment

• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
