This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee assigned territory and target accounts.
• Foster robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and carry out post-call assessments.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to successfully conclude sales calls.
• Attend to customer needs and expectations to cultivate trusted relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Formulate and execute call plans to enhance coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Gain insights into customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
• Relay market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field colleagues, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence teams, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• In the absence of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Capability to adjust selling techniques to align with customer style and behavior.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must fulfill applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing, or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Proven in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
