This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and field tactics for dermatology and immunology products.
• Achieve sales performance, brand key performance indicators (KPIs), financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and ensure calls to action are secured during sales interactions.
• Attend to customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships with clients.
• Formulate and implement call plans to enhance customer coverage, frequency, access, and sales opportunities.
• Gather and disseminate market intelligence regarding customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales.
• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to healthcare professionals.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.
• Collaborate with in-field teams, brand teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• In the absence of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience is required, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industries, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• A demonstrated history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Proven leadership and support experience at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Preferred pharmaceutical commercial experience, which may include physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
