This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Navigate objections and prompt calls to action to finalize sales calls.
• Meet customer needs and expectations to establish trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Design and implement call plans that enhance customer coverage and frequency.
• Acquire understanding of customer requirements, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales.
• Disseminate market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five years' experience, with three or more years preferred within the pharmaceutical/health/science sector.
• High school diploma/GED required if using industry experience instead of a bachelor's degree.
• Proven history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive areas.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must meet safe driving criteria.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
