This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Applies specialized expertise to enhance vital areas within the organization.

• Utilizes data, research analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities to further strategic goals.

• Acts as a peer influencer and may lead a project or project team.

• Coordinates intricate facility-based ancillary testing across various facilities and states.

• Manages scheduling for multiple facilities with considerable protocol differences.

• Oversees pre-registration, scheduling, electronic insurance eligibility verification, and the identification and collection of patient financial responsibilities.

• Manages complex scheduled events, including high-cost testing and related studies.

• Engages with service delivery areas to optimize patient flow and customer service.

• Initiates the overall patient experience and billing process for hospital services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of various scheduling systems.

• Proven expertise in scheduling processes for complex diagnostic testing appointments.

• A minimum of five (5) years of scheduling experience in an acute care environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Between two (2) to five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access.

• National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA is required within one (1) year of hire.

• Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software.
