Special Loans Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Process partial releases, additions of land, easements, and various land-related transactions.

• Evaluate loan and property details to ascertain eligibility and transaction requirements.

• Examine legal descriptions, surveys/plats, deeds, title documents, valuations, and additional supporting materials.

• Identify outstanding requirements and liaise with customers as well as internal/external business partners.

• Coordinate approvals from investors, mortgage insurance, clients, title, appraisal, legal, and other parties.

• Oversee assigned transactions and track outstanding conditions until completion.

• Maintain precise system documentation, imaging, tasks, and transaction records.

• Ensure compliance of transactions with investor, insurer, regulatory, and company standards.

• Investigate complex or non-standard transactions and escalate issues as necessary.

• Contribute to process improvements and uphold department procedures and job aids.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• Preferably 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, mortgage operations, title, real estate, or related fields.

• Familiarity with mortgage servicing and property-related documentation.

• Capability to interpret and apply requirements from investors, insurers, clients, and internal sources.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in independently managing multiple transactions and recognizing when escalation is needed.
