Spanish Professional Voice Actor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with a prominent AI laboratory through Mercor.

• Record audio in Castilian Spanish to enhance the AI models' capability to manage and produce audio data.

• Accurately transcribe or adjust written content for natural rhythm.

• Generate high-quality audio that meets the specified technical requirements.

• Engage in project onboarding and participate in a kickoff call.

• Work alongside leading researchers on initiatives aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional voice acting experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in speaking and audio through music, television, podcasts, Twitch streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or similar fields is valued.

• Must be a native speaker of Castilian (European) Spanish, having been born and raised in Spain.

• Proficient in English.

• Capable of speaking in a “customer service” manner with a neutral-to-upbeat tone, ensuring clear enunciation and consistent pacing.

• Strong attention to punctuation, commas, and dashes.

• Ability to either record transcripts as written or modify them to reflect a natural flow.

• Must have a professional audio recording setup, including a home studio, professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and editing software for post-production.

• Audio submissions must be in WAV format, 44.1 kHz, mono, with less than one second of silence at both the start and end, and no audible breathing.

• Availability for a kickoff call is required.

• Must be able to commit to 2–10 hours per week.

• Engagement is as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be accommodated.
