Spanish Multimedia Content Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Localize, translate, and adjust multimedia, legal, technical, and marketing materials in accordance with established style guides.

• Create copy for music, television, app store, video-on-demand, and game subscription services.

• Evaluate personal work as well as the work of fellow localization team members.

• Edit and fact-check content for accuracy and clarity.

• Conduct Localization QA testing on content that is published on live platforms.

• Investigate market-specific content handling, terminology trends, and localization methodologies.

• Transcribe spoken content, including lyrics.

• Provide reports on data and assets across various media and content types.

• Review linguistic evaluations and develop training resources and project documentation.

• Educate localization team peers on terminology, style, and best practices.

• Work in partnership with global language teams through virtual meetings and email to align on terminology, style, and share market insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and over 2 years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content, including demonstrable writing samples.

• Proven experience in the translation and localization of multimedia content.

• Proficiency in quickly identifying issues and inconsistencies in extensive content and making informed decisions.

• Extensive knowledge of music artists, television, cinema, gaming, and popular culture.

• Capability to take ownership of a language market and make confident linguistic choices.

• Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Strong computer skills; familiarity with iOS/macOS systems is advantageous.

• Ability to type in their native language using a standard English keyboard.

• Capacity to work independently and remotely.
