This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Assist JLL's business development team in securing new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and facilitating renewals.
β’ Work alongside Sourcing Pursuit Leads and Sales teams to create third-party solutions and develop competitive pricing strategies.
β’ Perform market research, identify suppliers, and conduct initial pricing analyses.
β’ Formulate sourcing strategies and market solutions that strengthen JLL's competitive edge.
β’ Convert sourcing ideas into client-ready proposal content and presentation materials.
β’ Collect market intelligence regarding suppliers, industry trends, capabilities, geographic reach, and pricing structures.
β’ Establish and maintain supplier databases and summarize market intelligence.
β’ Oversee RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes, including tender documentation, supplier outreach, communication, evaluations, and recommendations.
β’ Gather and analyze data to support sourcing decisions and pricing recommendations.
β’ Conduct financial modeling, cost analysis, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership assessments.
β’ Develop pricing frameworks, cost models, business cases, savings assessments, and value propositions.
β’ Generate proposal content, presentations, data visualizations, charts, and graphics.
β’ Collaborate with Pricing teams and assist in proposal reviews and quality assurance processes.
β’ Engage in pursuit kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, and proposal workshops.
β’ Cultivate supplier relationships, perform capability assessments, and coordinate supplier participation in meetings, site visits, and presentations.
β’ Conduct supplier due diligence, validating credentials, certifications, insurance, and compliance documentation.
β’ Identify and measure savings opportunities while documenting methodologies for credibility and audit purposes.
β’ Monitor pursuit pipelines, sourcing activities, deliverables, deadlines, supplier engagement, metrics, and win rates.
β’ Maintain precise pursuit documentation and contribute to process enhancements.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Account Management, operational teams, and Sourcing & Procurement Platform teams.
β’ Report sourcing progress, challenges, and opportunities to the Sourcing Pursuit Manager.
β’ Strong grasp of sourcing and procurement processes, particularly within business development contexts.
β’ Expertise in the development, management, and evaluation of RFP/RFI/RFQ processes.
β’ Proven analytical skills, including financial modeling, cost analysis, and benchmarking.
β’ Experience with market research methodologies, supplier identification, and capability assessments.
β’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
β’ Familiarity with sourcing technology platforms and tools.
β’ Ability to distill market data into actionable insights and competitive strategies.
β’ Capability to devise innovative sourcing solutions.
β’ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
β’ Proficiency in working with ambiguity and limited information under tight deadlines.
β’ Skill in evaluating supplier proposals and identifying optimal value propositions.
β’ Excellent written and strong verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to translate complex technical and financial information into accessible client language.
β’ Skills in developing presentations.
β’ Capacity to manage multiple concurrent pursuit opportunities with competing timelines.
β’ Strong organizational and time management abilities.
β’ Adaptability to shifting pursuit requirements and priorities.
β’ Collaborative working approach across sales, pricing, and operational teams.
β’ Supplier relationship management expertise.
β’ 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, business development support, or related fields (preferred).
β’ Background in supporting sales organizations, proposal development, or pursuit activities.
β’ Experience in the commercial real estate, facilities management, or professional services sectors.
β’ Knowledge of third-party service categories used in integrated facilities management.
β’ Familiarity with competitive bidding processes and supplier evaluation methodologies.
β’ Understanding of contract structures and commercial terms and conditions.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
β’ Professional certifications such as CPSM or CPM, or pursuit of certification (desirable).
β’ Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and proposal management tools.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
