This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take charge of and direct the Talent category strategy, focusing on client-chargeable procurement needs throughout Africa.
• Assist in sourcing and category management operations across Europe Central, including initiatives for cross-border sourcing.
• Establish, oversee, and consistently update a Preferred Supplier List (PSL).
• Serve as a reliable procurement advisor to Talent leaders, client-serving teams, and high-level stakeholders.
• Oversee comprehensive sourcing projects, supplier selection processes, commercial negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
• Enhance procurement visibility and manage spending effectively.
• Execute sourcing and category strategies in both Europe Central and Africa.
• Evaluate, analyze, and oversee category spending to consolidate suppliers, enhance value, and mitigate risk.
• Promote category maturity through governance, supplier management, best sourcing practices, and ongoing improvements.
• Lead supplier relationship management, conduct performance reviews, and implement follow-up actions.
• Generate category reports, spend analytics, market insights, and sourcing recommendations.
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and implement category opportunities with minimal supervision.
• Balance the needs of regional businesses with global procurement goals.
• At least 7+ years of experience in procurement.
• Proven experience in developing and executing regional or multi-country category strategies.
• Demonstrated capability in leading sourcing activities, negotiating commercial outcomes, and managing supplier relationships.
• Experience in analyzing spending and identifying procurement opportunities.
• Fluent in both verbal and written English.
• Strong skills in procurement reporting, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
• Significant strategic procurement and category management experience, preferably within Talent.
• Background in creating, managing, or optimizing supplier panels, preferred supplier lists, or strategic supplier programs.
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building within senior and matrixed environments.
• Ability to interpret spend data, market insights, and supplier performance metrics.
• Comfortable working across various regions, cultures, and time zones.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent procurement certification is preferred.
• Experience in a global, culturally diverse organization is preferred.
• Previous experience in supporting client-serving business environments or high-touch stakeholder groups is preferred.
• Additional language skills beyond English would be beneficial.
