Sourcing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in sourcing and procurement activities related to capital projects, programs, and operational initiatives.

• Formulate and implement sourcing strategies to enhance cost efficiency, quality, supplier performance, and risk management.

• Perform market research, analyze spending, and evaluate suppliers.

• Oversee the management of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid assessments, and the supplier selection process.

• Collaborate with clients, project teams, legal departments, and suppliers throughout the procurement process.

• Negotiate commercial terms while aiding in the development and administration of contracts.

• Track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and key procurement metrics.

• Identify sourcing risks and create strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a consistent supply chain.

• Generate procurement reports, gather market intelligence, and prepare presentations for stakeholders.

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and implement procurement best practices.

• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or strategic purchasing.

• Proven experience in managing competitive bidding processes and maintaining supplier relationships.

• Familiarity with procurement methodologies, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement or ERP systems.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work efficiently with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing abilities.

• Certifications such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, or other pertinent procurement qualifications are preferred.

• On-site presence may be required, subject to client needs.
